Temasek Polytechnic was established in 1990 located in the eastern part of Singapore. There are 6 academic schools offering 37 full-time diploma programmes for over 15,000 students and over 30 part-time courses for working adults. In the school of engineering, there are 6 research centres engaging the industry in applied research, in which the Aviation Research Centre focus in UAS.
TP is an unmanned aircraft operator permit holder (UOP/0217) for aerial photography & videography, UAV training and flight demonstrations. In the area of UAV developmental work, TP is equipped with a range of facilities such as netted UAV flying spaces, electronics & instrumentation laboratories, wind tunnels, simulators, and composites materials workshops. TP has the first of its kind outdoor UAV cage to allow the safe flying of drones inside the campus.
