Experia Launches the Inaugural Space Summit @ Singapore Airshow 2026
Industry Happenings: A Nationally Significant New Platform
Experia Events, the organiser of the Singapore Airshow, has officially launched the inaugural Space Summit @ Singapore Airshow 2026, to be held from 2 to 3 February 2026.
The new Space Summit @ Singapore Airshow, held in conjunction with the biennial Singapore Airshow, marks a strategic expansion of the event’s scope—bridging the realms of air and space. Endorsed by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and supported by the Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn), the addition of the Summit to the Singapore Airshow reflects the growing momentum in the global space economy and Singapore’s increasing ambition and investment in the domain.

Under the theme “New Frontiers, Shared Futures: Advancing Space for the Good of Humanity,” the Summit will highlight the growing role of space technologies in areas such as connectivity, navigation, climate resilience, and security; sectors where Singapore is actively shaping future-ready solutions. It is set to feature curated conference tracks, a dedicated exhibition zone, and business networking opportunities focused on satellite communications, launch technologies, space sustainability, and other developments shaping the industry.
“The addition of a space segment to the Singapore Airshow is a natural evolution that aligns with the expanding frontiers of the global aerospace industry and Singapore’s ambition to be a key node in the global space economy. By convening global and regional stakeholders in this fast-growing sector, we aim to accelerate innovation, investment and collaboration in space technologies.” said Mr Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director, Experia Events, organiser of Singapore Airshow.
“Space technologies are becoming increasingly integral to our economy – ranging from enabling connectivity and navigation to climate monitoring and national security,” said Mr Jonathan Hung, Executive Director of OSTIn. “The Space Summit@Singapore Airshow in 2026, provides a timely platform to spotlight Singapore’s capabilities in innovation and foster global partnerships across the space value chain.”

Close Collaboration for the Next Frontier
A launch event for the Space Summit was held on 26 May 2025 at the EDB Lounge, bringing together key representatives from Singapore’s aerospace and space ecosystems. The event signalled growing momentum for cross-sector collaboration and innovation as Singapore positions itself for greater participation in the global space economy.
As part of this launch, AAIS has also been introduced as the partner for the Singapore Pavilion at the Summit.
This represents a natural extension of AAIS’s long-standing role as facilitator of the Singapore Pavilion at the Singapore Airshow since its inception in 2008. For nearly two decades, AAIS has successfully presented Singapore’s aerospace companies on the global stage, presenting a cohesive and compelling showcase of our diverse ecosystem and capabilities. With the emergence of the space sector, AAIS is now well-positioned to leverage its established networks and strengths as a trade association to support this high-growth domain.
The Singapore Pavilion at the Space Summit will provide local companies with a high-visibility gateway to present their technologies, solutions, and innovations to a truly international audience. Together, the partners aim to align Singapore’s industry presence across sectors and deliver a harmonised, compelling representation of the nation’s commercial strengths on the global stage.
“Space holds tremendous potential as a frontier for limitless possibilities in innovation, technology and advancement. Venturing into this domain is a natural step for AAIS,” said Mr Wong Yue Jeen, President of AAIS. “Aerospace companies are harnessing their capabilities to explore or expand their presence in the rapidly evolving space industry. With Singapore’s space sector gaining momentum, our goal is to strengthen the ecosystem and enhance the value chain.”
