Temasek Polytechnic was established in 1990 located in the eastern part of Singapore. There are 6 academic schools offering 36 full-time diploma programmes for over 13,000 students and over 30 part-time courses for working adults. In the school of engineering, there are 7 research centres engaging the industry in applied research, in which the Aviation Research Centre focus in UAS.
TP has expertise in developing industry application drones, including tethered power integration, fuel-cell drones, and specialized UAS systems. As an Unmanned Aircraft Training Organization (UATO), TP offers rotorcraft UA training leading to the attainment of the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL). Additionally, TP provides customized training programs in drone-based aerial mapping and operations for specific applications.
